I’ve impressed myself!

Well I did it.  I changed my own oil!  Not 100% sure why…  it was a mix of just proving that I could do it - not having to pay $120 to someone else to do it - trying something new - etc…  But yeah I did it.  :-)  Feels kinda good!  I’ll report back in a few hundred miles on whether or not the engine blows up
That aside, I had planned on spending a few hours detailing the crud outa my car today, however, my plans are being slightly thrown off due to weather.  I managed to get the oil changed in a brief window of only clouds… but… I’m not sure that I want to get involved in washing, waxing, vacuuming, detailing, etc with a periodic drizzle going on.  Blah.  Hopefully it’ll clear up later this afternoon.  If not - I know what I’m doing at some other point during the weekend!

So… now what do I do with all this dirty oil?  Hmm…  Ok…  I’m off to Google for oil drop off locations.  Oh the fun!
