Two bitter old women, please…

And I don’t mean us… whether you asked for it or not, that’s what you got if you saw Legends at Memorial Auditorium this weekend. Our season tickets to Broadway Series South included seats to the show Legends featuring Joan Collins and Linda Evans. Good lord. The best part of the show was the maid who (for our showing) was played by an understudy. How sad was that?! Five minutes into the show it was amazingly clear that their acting and personalities were that of self absorbed bitches and that they were ‘owed’ applause from the audience. Wow. I really don’t mean this to sound bitter myself - but - they were *really* bad. Ticket value for this show = $120. We left at intermission. As did ~ 30% of the audience. :: sad panda :: What’s really sad is that this theater was deserted from the start… a sign? Me thinks yes. Please oh please someone remove this show from future tours.

Anyway… THAT did not stop us from having a great weekend! We made our way onto the club after our intermission exodus for a few rounds of shooting pool with Matt and Mitchel and had a *great* time! After sucking major donkey… well… we were just bad at pool - we ventured onto the club side and enjoyed some drinking, dancing, and frivolity! The club crowd was a little older this weekend and the music just average. Eh. It’s the first weekend of the month. More fun to come later - I hear a guest DJ is comin’ on Memorial Day weekend!
All that weekend ‘fun’ aside - I’ve *completely* forgotten to spread the word that we’re back in travel mode! Woo! In two weeks we take a nice little weekend trip to DC to do some touristy stuff, as I’ve never been. And… In September we go on another cruise! Hot damn! The excitement just cannot be measured - I’m going to turn, well, older (lol) in the Caribbean. We chose a nice balcony room on the Carnival Triumph - Take a peek:

O…mg I’m excited.  As our cruise pics from last year show, we definitely had fun.  I can’t wait to have round 2 - this time with a better camera. :lol:  Blue margaritas here we come!
