And…. the fun begins! The tree has been set up! I opted to do it tonight rather than this weekend. Why? Hell if I know - just enjoy it.

Being the last of 6 kids, I was disrobed of Santa Clause quite early… they just gave up and put the presents out in front of me. I digress- my parents, on Christmas Eve - for my older siblings - would put everyone in bed then set up the tree with all the gifts. Quite a nice tradition. Until the family dog decided that they put up a new pee spot just for him! Down came the tree… hard. Really hard. Tradition status: ended. Everytime I put up the tree and see the stalking cats I can’t help but to think: did I fasten everything? No wonder I bought unbreakable ornaments! Not to mention the 1/4-lb brass pine cone ornaments. I can whack them on the head even when we’re not around

lol… ok - now you tell me this? EVERYTHING on that tree is breakable! Ugh… it’s gonna be a loooong season.
