Blog software update & Subscriptions

Alrighty… I decided to get brave and tackled the task of updating the software for this site to go from v1.5 to v2.0. (WordPress) I would like to thank the fine folks over at WordPress for making it incredibly easy!!! I’ve made more than my share of mistakes in updating software. From not following instructions to not making the appropriate backups… all ending in a disaster & frustration.

Not this time! Although taking extra time… I followed their walkthrough step-by-step. Backing up the files & database - uploading - etc… etc… etc… And now - v2.0!! Which, by the way, is very nice. I’m loving the managment of it (I know - a geek at heart).

Anyway. I’ve also added a few things like the Simpsons quotes on the side and the ability to subscribe. You know - just in case anyone cares what I ramble about. If you’re REALLY lazy like me - don’t worry - I won’t hold it against you… I’m right there with ya - you can subscribe right here and I’ll save a click of the menu. Aren’t I nice?!

So ya, anyway, there you have it… I updated the site and didn’t screw it up (this time). Ya! for small accomplishments! lol
