Today I’m home from work sick… I loathe this. I hate everything about it. Every part of you feeling blah. Your body aching. No matter how many times you brush your teeth your mouth still feels horrid. Btw, wtf is that white crap that builds up on your tongue when you’re sick? I’m afraid I know but don’t want to believe it… ew.

It’s always at the worst times that I get sick. It’s been ~ 8 months since the last time I was feeling bad so I guess I’m due. Last time was just before the holidays. This time is right at the end of a big project… of course.

So yeah. I’m sick. Fever. Body aches. Can’t sleep yet uber tired.

I guess I don’t really have a point for this - - I’m just bitching about feeling like hell.

This is just gross… Yeah I know germs are everywhere; but, you have some expectation of actually washing the glasses. There’s some fuzzy line between dealing with everyday germs and sanitary. I believe this crosses it. :-\

Ugh… I feel like death today. I’ve been fighting a cold all weekend and yesterday and today have been especially hard. I’m staying home from work to wallow in my misery and, hopefully, not get anyone else sick before Thanksgiving. Bleh.

Ahh…  my sore arm and slightly achy body tell me that the flu shot that I got yesterday afternoon is kicking in.  So lets take bets… do I get the flu this year - - or not? 
Btw - big kudos to health insurance covering 100% of preventative care.  Walk in - hand over insurance card - wait 20ish mins - 90 second visit with random-person-in-scrubs-#2 for a stick in the arm - walk out without any payment.  Mmmm… health insurance.
